Baked Turkey Fillet With a Garlic and Demerera Glaze

A great dish for getting creative with turkey. Turkey is such a healthy meat and always very economical to buy. Give this recipe a try and let us know what you think.

Serves 4


  • Turkey fillet

  • 2 tbsp softened butter

  • 2 tbsp demerera sugar

  • 4 cloves finely crushed garlic

  • salt and pepper



  1. In a small salad bowl mix 2 tbsp of softened butter with 4 cloves of finely crushed garlic.

  2. Add 2 tbsp of demerera sugar and a few sprinkles of fresh thyme. Mix until it forms a paste.

  3. Season your turkey breast with salt and pepper and place on a baking tray

  4. Rub the paste all over the surface and bake in the oven at 190 deg.C for 30 minutes depending on the size of your fillet.

  5. Once cooked, allow to rest under foil, then slice and serve.
